About Matias

I am a native Spanish speaker with a strong background in both Spanish and English. I lived in the United States for a year and regularly spend my summers and winters there, so I have had plenty of experience living and communicating in an English-speaking environment. I also attended a British school and completed my IGCSEs in English, while the rest of my education has been in Spanish.

Having lived in several different countries, I have become very adaptable and comfortable meeting and communicating with people from different cultures and backgrounds. I am a responsible, organized and patient person, and I genuinely enjoy helping others learn and improve.

I am currently studying at university, and I am passionate about teaching in a way that is enjoyable, practical and adapted to each student. I want my students to feel comfortable, confident and motivated throughout their learning journey.

About the lesson

My lessons are dynamic, interactive and adapted to each student's needs, level and goals. I believe that learning a language should be enjoyable and practical, so I use conversations, real-life situations, exercises and engaging activities to make each lesson useful and interesting.

A typical lesson starts with a short conversation or review of previous topics, followed by new material and practical exercises. I always encourage students to participate actively and ask questions, and I adapt the pace and activities depending on their progress.

As a native Spanish speaker with a C1 level of English, I can explain Spanish clearly and communicate comfortably with English-speaking students. My lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate and advanced learners, whether they want to improve their speaking, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation or overall confidence in Spanish.
