About Jose Javier

Hello, I hold degrees in Geography and Spatial Planning, as well as in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Murcia, Spain. Spanish (from Spain) is my native language, and it has always been a top priority in my education, especially because of my mother, a high school principal, who has ensured that my Spanish is as accurate and precise as possible. I have two years of experience teaching English in Spain and currently offer Spanish classes both in person, in the Boston area, and online for students around the world. This helps students learn conversational skills that they can use immediately. 2. Task-based Learning: I design tasks that require students to actively use the language—whether it’s making a presentation, writing a short story, or preparing a debate. This encourages them to think and speak in Spanish naturally. 3. Focus on Listening & Speaking: While grammar is important, I put extra emphasis on listening and speaking skills, as they are crucial for fluency. I incorporate listening exercises, interactive discussions, and pronunciation practice regularly. 4. Personalized Learning: Every student is different, so I tailor my lessons to each individual’s specific goals, whether it’s for travel, business, or exam preparation.
