About Miriam
Hi! I'm Miriam, a native Spanish speaker from Spain currently living in New Zealand.
I'm an Aerospace Engineer, but two years ago I decided to leave my engineering career behind for a while to travel across Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand. That experience completely changed my perspective and gave me a deep appreciation for languages and different cultures.
Having learned and worked in different countries myself, I understand how challenging, but also rewarding, it can be to communicate in another language.
I look forward to meeting you!

My lessons focus mainly on conversation, because I believe that's the best way to build confidence and start speaking naturally.
However, every student is different, so I adapt each lesson to your goals. We can focus on:
️- Conversation and speaking confidence
- Grammar
️- Vocabulary
- Listening comprehension
- Spanish for travel
- Professional Spanish
- Exam preparation (if required)
Whether you're a complete beginner or already speak some Spanish, I'll tailor the lessons to your level and interests.
My goal is to help you feel comfortable speaking Spanish in real-life situations while making the lessons enjoyable and practical.
