I am a native Spanish speaker from Colombia and a third-year student at UBC studying Psychology and Fine Arts, with a strong academic record. I am passionate about teaching and enjoy helping others learn in a way that feels clear, supportive, and enjoyable.
I have experience working with students through mentoring and informal teaching support, which has helped me develop patience, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles. As a native Spanish speaker from Colombia and a UBC student, I focus on helping students build real confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing Spanish through clear explanations and practical conversation.
A typical lesson includes reviewing key vocabulary or grammar concepts, followed by guided practice and interactive exercises to reinforce understanding. I also emphasize real-life conversation so students can use Spanish naturally and confidently outside of lessons.
