About Debanhi
The best way to learn in, my opinion is by reading. Especially if it is a story that interests you. When you find a book that really inspires you, and piques your interest you can’t put it down, so your only option will be to keep learning new words until you finish it. Once you do it will give you the confidence to pick up a new one. I love learning new things and I know you do too. Through books I hope to teach you about the Latinx culture, history, and lore.

I grew up in Monterrey Mexico, and moved to the U.S. when I was 4. I remember being ridiculed for not knowing English. I didn’t want to speak at all. Then they put me in ESL, English as a second language, and that gave me the confidence to make friends. When I started high school I decided to take French, I am still an aspiring trilingual. I understand how intimidating it is learning a new language, but with me you will have a safe space to learn, and hopefully have fun at the same time.
