About Tania

Hello! I’m Tania, a graduate with a BSc (Hons) in Neuroscience from the University of Edinburgh, currently starting a Master of Research in Neurotechnology at Imperial College London. Originally from Barcelona, I am a native Spanish speaker who is also fluent in English and Catalan. This multilingual background allows me to teach effectively in any of these languages.

I have several years of experience tutoring students at GCSE and A-level in subjects including biology, chemistry, physics, maths, and Spanish. I am passionate about helping students not only understand their subjects but also develop a genuine love for learning. I create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and tackling challenges.

My teaching approach is personalised and adaptive, ensuring that each lesson meets the individual needs and learning style of my students. I am committed to professionalism, reliability, and clear communication, so you can trust that your learning journey is in capable hands.

About the lesson

I believe everyone learns languages differently, so my first step is always to understand how you best absorb new information. Whether you learn best by speaking, writing, listening, or reading, I tailor my lessons to fit your unique style.

My lessons focus on clear explanations, practical examples, and plenty of conversation practice to build your confidence. I use a mix of techniques, including interactive exercises, real-life scenarios, and targeted grammar drills. I also provide helpful tips on vocabulary retention and pronunciation.

A typical lesson lasts between 1 and 2 hours, depending on your needs and schedule. I’m flexible and happy to adjust the length to what works best for you.

I’m a native Spanish speaker, fluent in English, and have experience teaching all ages and all levels—from complete beginners to advanced students preparing for GCSE, A-level, or conversational fluency. Whether you’re a school student, university learner, or adult wanting to pick up or polish your Spanish skills, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
