About Itziar
I'm Itziar, a native Spanish speaker from Spain now teaching in Melbourne. Language has always been central to my life — I've lived and worked across Spain, Germany, and the UK, which shaped my belief that real fluency comes from genuine conversation, not memorized grammar rules. I hold a Master of Teaching, a Diploma of University Expert in Spanish as a Second Language (UNED), and completed my Spanish teacher training (DADIC) and DELE Examiner certification through Instituto Cervantes London. I've taught Spanish to everyone from curious beginners to exam candidates, and I love helping students find confidence in a new language. I bring patience, warmth, and adaptability to every lesson, tailoring my approach to how you learn best.

Native Spanish speaker from Spain, trained as a Spanish teacher through Instituto Cervantes London (DADIC certificate and DELE Examiner certification) and holding a Master of Teaching. I've since taught Spanish at Instituto Cervantes Melbourne, as well as to adults and teens across the city, from complete beginners to advanced learners preparing for exams.
Rather than following a rigid textbook program, I build lessons around what you actually want to improve — natural conversation, listening comprehension, and confident writing. Sessions are personalized to your pace, interests, and goals, whether that's everyday fluency, travel prep, or exam readiness.
