"Teaching requires a balance of structure and spontaneous conversation to keep things engaging. I provide clear, actionable feedback on your grammar and reading comprehension to ensure you understand both Latin American and Castilian variants. We practice through role play and dialogue to prepare you for interviews or casual travel encounters. My lessons draw on my 13 years of gigging and living in multicultural environments to make the language feel alive.

"Sitting at my kitchen table in Australia, I often reflect on the bolero records that defined my childhood. Being a native Spanish speaker with 13 years of experience allows me to offer more than just dry grammar rules to the kids and travelers I work with.
I integrate verb conjugation and writing skills into real-world scenarios. My background as a self-taught musician and neurodivergent-affirming tutor means I value different ways of processing information. I have taught a wide variety of students, helping them navigate everything from travel basics to complex business Spanish. It is quite rewarding to see people connect with the traditions of Latin America through our lessons."
