About Sheng
I am a native Mandarin speaker with extensive experience in language teaching and learning. Having lived in the United States since my teenage years, I am comfortable in multicultural and multilingual environments. I began teaching Mandarin to American high school students while I was in college. Later, I taught English to Chinese students and French to international students attending French schools in China. Professionally, I am a lawyer licensed to practice law in both China and the United States. However, my true passions lie in literature, education, and languages. I believe in discovering the beauty of the Chinese language and the joy of learning Mandarin. My classes are ideal for students who want to stay motivated throughout their learning journey while also becoming familiar with Chinese culture.
