About Scarlett
-Native Mandarin Speaker
I am a native Mandarin Chinese speaker from Beijing, China, with no accent. I am passionate about the Chinese language and culture, and I want my students to feel that passion too. I believe that learning a new language is more than just memorizing vocabulary and grammar rules. It is also about understanding the culture behind the language. That is why I incorporate Chinese culture into my lessons. My students learn about Chinese food, festivals, traditions, poems, and more.

I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor my teaching methods to the individual needs of each student. I assess your level, age, and interests to create a personalized learning plan. I also adjust my teaching methods according to your feedback.
-Focus on Correct Tones and Pronunciation
Pronunciation is one of the most important aspects of learning Mandarin Chinese. I focus on helping my students develop correct tones and pronunciation from the very beginning. Feedback from a student after the first class: "I finally knew how to pronounce the 4th tone!"
