About Theresa

Hello! I'm a native Malayalam speaker with a genuine passion for teaching and sharing the beauty of the Malayalam language. I also studied Malayalam as an additional subject during my college education, which has strengthened my understanding of its grammar, literature, and writing.

I enjoy reading a wide variety of Malayalam books, and this has helped me build a strong vocabulary and a deeper appreciation of the language. I can help students understand the exact meaning of words, phrases, poems, and literary texts in a simple and easy-to-understand way. Whether you're struggling with grammar, reading, writing, or comprehension, I'll guide you patiently until you feel confident.

My teaching style is friendly, supportive, and adapted to each student's learning pace. I believe that learning Malayalam should be enjoyable, not stressful. My goal is to help students not only achieve better academic results but also develop confidence in reading, writing, and appreciating Malayalam as a language.

I look forward to helping you learn Malayalam with clarity, confidence, and enthusiasm!

About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on making Malayalam easy, enjoyable, and meaningful for every student. As Malayalam is my mother tongue and I also studied it as an additional subject during my college education, I am able to explain the language in a simple and practical way.

Each class begins with a brief review of the previous lesson, followed by the introduction of a new topic. Depending on the student's level, lessons include reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and sentence formation. I also explain poems, stories, and literary texts in a simple manner, helping students understand their meanings, themes, and the emotions behind the writing. I encourage students to ask questions freely and provide regular practice to improve their confidence and fluency.

I use examples from school textbooks as well as a variety of Malayalam books to help students develop a deeper understanding of the language and appreciate Malayalam literature. My goal is not just to help students score well in examinations but also to help them read, write, and communicate confidently in Malayalam.

My classes are suitable for school students following the Kerala State, CBSE, or ICSE syllabus, beginners who want to learn Malayalam, and anyone interested in improving their reading, writing, speaking, or understanding of the language.
