About Yoko
I am a PhD student in history at UCL. I am a qualified history teacher and have taught World History at high school in Japan. I am also tutoring primary school pupils for a Japanese family in maths, Japanese and English.

I am always keen to know what my students want me to help with. I can assist students in achieving their goals by giving a lecture on a particular topic requested or by answering questions from them. When I teach Japanese, I will make sure students can learn about the cultural background of language usage as it helps students to understand the structure of the language more clearly.
