About Dalila
Ciao! I'm Dalila, a native Italian speaker based in the UK. I hold a degree in Modern Languages and Literature, and my love for languages has always gone hand in hand with a love for teaching. I got my first taste of it helping fellow students at my university's language centre, and I've been hooked ever since.
For me, learning a language isn't just about grammar rules. It's a way into a whole culture: its films, music, food, and way of seeing the world. I try to bring that spirit into every lesson, so you're not just memorising vocabulary but actually connecting with the language.
Whether you're starting from scratch or brushing up before a trip to Italy, I'd love to help you get there, one lesson at a time.

Every lesson starts with a quick assessment, so I can understand your current level and tailor things to your needs and goals. For complete beginners, I'll start off in English to help you feel comfortable, then gradually introduce more Italian as we go. For everyone else, I teach primarily in Italian, since immersion is one of the most effective ways to build real confidence and fluency.
Lessons typically run 60 minutes, though this can be adjusted depending on your goals. I welcome students of all ages and levels, whether you're learning for travel, work, exams, or simply for the love of the language. Lessons are fully personalised around what motivates you.
