About Karen

I have two years of tutoring experience, working with children and teenagers of different ages, from elementary school to middle school and high school. I have helped students with language lessons as well as various school subjects, adapting my teaching methods to their individual needs and learning styles.

Through this experience, I have developed patience, flexibility, and the ability to explain concepts clearly and make learning easier and more enjoyable.

About the lesson

Hi everyone! My name is Karen, I’m 21 years old, and I’ve lived in Italy my entire life, although I was born in the United States.

I’m here to offer Italian lessons to anyone who wants or needs to learn the language, whether it’s for university, work, or simply to feel more comfortable and integrate into a new city or community.

My lessons will start with the basics of Italian, including essential verbs, simple sentences, and everyday vocabulary that you can use in real-life situations. As we progress, we’ll gradually move on to more advanced topics, always at a pace that suits your needs and learning style.

One of the most important aspects of my lessons is conversation. I truly believe that practicing conversations is one of the best ways to gain confidence and become comfortable speaking a new language. My goal is to create a relaxed and friendly environment where you can practice, make mistakes without feeling embarrassed, and improve step by step.

I really enjoy teaching and helping others learn. I’ve always loved teaching my younger sister, and that experience has taught me the importance of patience, encouragement, and understanding that everyone learns at their own pace.

For me, there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing someone learn something new, gain confidence, and discover new opportunities through language.

I look forward to meeting you and helping you on your Italian-learning journey!
