if you want to become fluent in conversation and proficient at writing Italian in a matter of weeks, I highly recommend Sorley. Although it is a complex language and although I started from a very low level, after taking lessons from Sorley, I was able to manage any conversation with native Italian speakers without disfiguring. I am also able to read any text in Italian without having to resort to google translate. Highly recommended.

Really good tutor, his lessons are cheap, he's really kind and patient. It's a good choice if you need someone whose first language is English and who speaks Italian well enough to learn to do some conversation!
