About Mr Om

Namaste! My name is Omprakash Sharma, and I am a native Hindi speaker born and raised in India. Hindi is not just my language; it is a big part of who I am, my culture, and my daily life.
I love meeting people from different countries and backgrounds. Teaching Hindi to foreigners allows me to share the beauty of Indian culture, traditions, and language with the world. I understand that learning a new language can be scary, especially when trying to speak it out loud. That is why I make sure my personality is highly patient, warm, and encouraging.
When I am not helping students practice Hindi, I enjoy exploring Indian festivals, listening to traditional music, and talking about Bollywood.
I believe that the best way to learn Hindi is not through textbooks, but through friendly conversations with a native speaker. I look forward to meeting you and helping you on your Hindi learning journey!

About the lesson

My classes are built around the concept of "Learning by Speaking." I do not focus on boring grammar rules or writing sheets. Instead, we dive straight into speaking Hindi from day one.
Who is this class for?
• Foreigners & Expats who want to survive and travel comfortably in India.
• Intermediate Learners who want to remove their hesitation and speak fluently.
• NRI Children whose parents want them to speak Hindi at home.
What will we do in our lessons?
• Topic-Based Discussions: We will pick fun topics every day—like Indian food, Bollywood movies, travel experiences, and festivals.
• Role-Playing Games: We will practice real-life situations. For example: "How to chat with a shopkeeper," "How to direct an auto-driver," or "How to order food at a restaurant."
• Pronunciation Correction: I will gently fix your accent and pronunciation so you sound like a native Indian speaker.
Class Environment:
My lessons are conducted online via [Zoom / Google Meet]. The vibe is highly supportive, relaxed, and patient. You can make as many mistakes as you want because that is how we learn!
