About Eleni

Hello! I’m Eleni, born and raised in Greece before moving to the UK. My journey has made me passionate about helping others connect with their Greek roots. I’ve seen how living away from Greek culture can impact fluency, especially for younger generations, and I want to change that by sharing the language and traditions I grew up with.

In addition to my studies, I’m actively involved in various extracurricular activities, including running my own small business. I also study art in college, which fuels my creativity and helps me design engaging lessons. I pride myself on being approachable and fun to talk to, so if you're feeling nervous or shy at the start, don’t worry—I’ll make sure our conversations flow easily!

About the lesson

I tailor each Greek lesson to the learner’s level and goals, creating a supportive space that builds confidence and makes learning enjoyable.

Whether you're brushing up on basics or working toward fluency, we'll focus on what you need most through fun, engaging activities. Lessons usually run for 1 to 1.5 hours.

I have a GCSE in Greek (Level 9), a Greek A-Level, as well as having lived in Greece and being Greek. Additionally I used to teach for 2 years part-time at a Greek primary school—so there’s plenty of real-world experience behind what I share. Suitable for kids and up!
