About Samir

I am a native German speaker currently living in San Diego for a semester abroad. In Germany, I am an active university student, which ensures that my language skills are professional and academically grounded. Having spent my life as a language mediator for my family, I possess a unique ability to break down complex grammar and cultural nuances into simple, understandable concepts. I am here to share my native expertise and help local students excel in their German studies before I return home in June.

About the lesson

I offer comprehensive German tutoring specifically tailored for school students and academic success. By combining curriculum-based support with my unique background as a lifelong language mediator, I help students improve their grades while gaining genuine confidence in the language.

My Approach:
We focus on mastering school assignments and exam preparation while integrating immersive speaking exercises. This dual method ensures you don't just memorize rules for a test, but actually understand how to use German effectively in real-life situations.

Typical Lesson Plan:
- Curriculum Review: We go over your current school topics and homework to ensure full understanding.
- Targeted Tasks: Strengthening specific weak points, such as complex grammar or vocabulary.
- Application: Bridging the gap between textbook theory and authentic communication.

Whether you need to boost your GPA, prepare for a final exam, or simply want to speak more fluently, I am happy to provide the tools and strategies to reach your goals :)
