About Samira
I am currently studying Sociology and English Literature in Scotland.
I helped several of my friends who took German at university with their speaking and writing skills, pronunciation in particular. I also completed a TESOL course where I was able to develop teaching skills over the course of several months.
As German is my first language, I am confident teaching learners of all levels. I can help with speaking practice, grammar, building vocabulary, authentic German (i.e. slang), and more.

As I am a native German speaker, I am confident in teaching learners of all levels. I believe that speaking and actively practicing the language is vital in learning a language. As a tutor I thus try to speak as much German as possible (depending on the level of the tutee), and encourage students to do so as well.
I also put a lot of time and effort into creating lesson plans. I am happy to work alongside a book or with a syllabus, but I am also confident in creating my own lesson plans, including detailed grammar and vocabulary. All the documents outlining the grammar and vocabulary will of course be made available to the tutees as part of the lesson.
