About Nadine

A little bit more about me. I am an undergraduate Biology student who has been tutoring for the past year in my hometown of Vienna, Austria, and I would love to continue doing so during my time here in Wales.

After successfully completing high school, I spent over a year working and travelling across Canada, which had a tremendous impact on my character, making me a more adaptable and confident person, but also more open and empathetic towards people from various backgrounds, cultures and lifestyles.

I have found that tutoring cannot only be educational for the students, but also a deeply rewarding experience for the tutor as well. Through this work, I have become a more patient, kind, and resourceful teacher, yet also someone who knows how to be assertive when needed.

I feel very grateful for this opportunity to engage with students, share knowledge and learn from each session in return. I look forward to creating both educational and enjoyable lessons with my future students.

About the lesson

For the past year, I have been teaching and supporting students of all ages - from preparing young children for their first school year, to helping middle schoolers improve their grades, to teaching a mother conversational basics.

I tailor the structure and length entirely to the student, although most lessons last between one and two hours. I use a variety of learning tools and always incorporate several learning styles - ranging from auditory to kinaesthetic - to ensure that lessons are not only productive but also engaging and enjoyable.
