About Katharina

I'm a native German speaker and currently live in Germany and occasionally in Brazil. I've taught private English lessons and also worked as a teaching assistant at a school for construction apprentices in Germany, helping non-native speakers improve their communication skills. Therefore, I understand the challenges and support them with patience and dedication. My German classes focus on conversation and real-life situations, helping you gain confidence from the start, whether for travel, work, studies, or integration. I adapt the content to your pace and goals, with light, practical, and motivating activities. I'm taking a break between engineering projects and would be happy to help you improve your German in a natural and relaxed way!

About the lesson

My classes focus entirely on communication and building confidence in speaking German in real-life situations. In the first meeting, we discuss your current level and your goals, tailoring the content to your specific needs. I use practical dialogues, games, short videos, and light texts to help you relax and speak from the beginning. Classes for children are playful and creative; for adults, they're geared toward travel, study, work, or cultural integration. Throughout the class, I provide feedback that helps you evolve naturally and identify your own progress. My goal is for you to feel confident and motivated to communicate in German—with classes that are light, welcoming, and full of meaning.
