I have been teaching Spanish for over 5 years, and have more than 10 years' experience in teaching and training other subjects too.

I am strong believer that teaching goes hand in hand with professionalism and fun, and I have always succeeded in making my students reach their goals.

I am a Native Speaker certified by ELE International.

My approach is teaching Spanish through interactive, practical, real-life situations and exercises.
Conversation is the most important part of any language and the most effective way of communication.

Before our Demo lesson, we will discuss your learning goals and my teaching methods, finding the most suitable syllabus for your needs.
Each course is designed individually to provide the best exercises and knowledge for each student.

Excellent! Sunni is an extremely focused, engaged and dedicated facilitator, she has the knack of using creative strategies and tools to bring out answers out of a person instead of spoon feeding them with information. Through quizzes, visuals etc. She manages to evoke an interest in the riches that Spanish as a language and its culture offers. Although I have just finished three lessons with her, I don't even realize how the hour passes by. Learning with her has been a pleasure and I look forward to her class every week since they have started. She's a delight to converse with and learn from because of her ability to you through each complex topic with immense patience and compassion. If you are looking for an engaging, flexible and erudite Spanish teacher, I will highly recommend her!

Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
I have always wanted to be a teacher, ever since I was a kid. As I started to travel the world I realised how fortunate I was to be Native of Spain, since my mother tongue seemed to be a language that drew everyone's attention.

I have always enjoyed teaching any subject, and it only seemed natural to me to get a certification so I could teach Spanish professionally and help others reach their goals.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
I love traveling and meeting new people. I speak a few languages myself and have always found pleasure and development in learning about a culture through their way of communication.

Speaking a second or third language opens up a whole new world of possibilities to the student, and this is a very fulfilling feeling for me.
How does your work help society?
Human cooperation is essential to the correct development of our society. When you learn a new language you learn about their culture too. The more languages you speak, the more people you can meet and understand.

Learning Spanish allows people to communicate better, and therefore reach better understandings.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
I have always admire teachers that are passionate about what they do. There is a vast difference between teachers who love their job and those who have no interest in their students.

I keep certain teachers very close to my heart and I am eternally grateful for their dedication and where their efforts took me, so I like to think of myself as being able to provide the same feeling to my students.
Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
I love listening to music, and to sing and dance. I also love traveling, learning new languages and meeting new people.
I love photography and any other type of visual art. I also love skiing, diving, doing yoga and playing tennis.
For quieter times, I love reading, meditating and having a nice cup of tea with my husband and son.
Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
One of my students (6 years old) seemed to really enjoy singing, so I tried to teach him Spanish through children's songs as much as I could.

Some time after, his parents sent me a message saying that he was singing every song I had taught him to each and every friend and family member that came to visit their home, but none of them spoke Spanish! It was a very satisfying feeling to know he enjoyed our lessons to that level.

It motivates me greatly to know that I can provide such joy to a child, along with the useful knowledge he will retain for the future.
