About Edith

Bonjour, I'm a native French tutor with over 30 years of international teaching experience and a Master’s degree in Teaching French as a Foreign Language (Master FLE). I’ve worked with learners of all ages – from complete beginners to advanced and professional-level students – and I’ve been based in the UK for the past 20 years. I offer structured, engaging, and fully personalised online lessons that help you gain confidence and real-life fluency in French. Whether you're preparing for exams, learning for work, or simply exploring the language and culture, I’ll support you every step of the way with clear explanations, patient guidance, and a professional yet friendly approach. Reliability, passion, and precision are central to my teaching style. I’m committed to helping you reach your goals in a motivating and respectful learning environment. Let’s work together to make your French journey a success!

About the lesson

I offer personalised, engaging lessons tailored to each student’s level and goals. Whether you're a beginner, intermediate, or advanced learner – or need French for work or exams – I adapt my approach to suit your needs. Lessons typically last 45 minutes to 1 hour and are held online for flexibility and convenience. I focus on building confidence through conversation, grammar, listening, and real-life situations. As a native French speaker with a Master’s in FLE and 30+ years of teaching experience, I’ve helped learners of all ages progress and enjoy learning French.
