About Wanda

My name is Wanda, I was born and raised in France and will be a certified French teacher by the Alliance Française (DAEFLE) in a few months.

I obtained my Masters from "Iscom Lyon", France, specializing in communication. After traveling the world for the following six years, I decided to settle in beautiful Santa Barbara, California, and teach French.

Hello everyone! Bonjour !

Most foreigners I've met first come to me saying, "French is so hard, I will never be able to speak it".
I had the same experience in many countries I visited; I had to learn English and Spanish from scratch like you. I understand the obstacles when learning a new language. I also realized that the best to learn is to speak with a native.
And yes, it can be exhausting sometimes: you need to repeat everything you say, make mistakes, and you may feel embarrassed when speaking French. But… it’s completely normal!

With a teacher like me, who loves her job and cares about you, you will make progress at every lesson. After few days, you'll be able to introduce yourself and speak some basics.

Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced student, I want to know your expectations in order to customize my class to your needs and goals, and give the lesson who fits you the best:
