Hi ! I am Kelly, I'm 27 and I'm a native French speaker from France. I have an 8-year-old daughter and I love to share skills and experience. I'm currently living in Calgary, AB, CA and happy to teach French to others :)

Bonjour / Hi My name is Kelly, I’m a native French speaker from France, now living in Calgary. I’m friendly, patient and I love helping people feel confident in French. I adapt my lessons to each person so you can progress at your own rhythm, in a relaxed atmosphere, without pressure. I offer private French lessons for: – Adults & teens with a B1 level and above – Kids (from beginners to school support) For adults & teens (B1 and above) If you already know the basics but you feel stuck, I help you go beyond standard textbook French. With each student, we: – Define your personal goals (work, everyday life, travel, exams, moving to France/Québec, etc.) – Adapt the lessons to your topics: your job, hobbies, real situations you face – Practice real-life French the way people actually speak in France – Learn idiomatic expressions, everyday phrases, nuances (formal / informal) – Review or rebuild useful basics if you need them (grammar foundations, verbs, pronunciation) – Work on your confidence, your accent and your fluency through conversation If you are preparing a French exam for your permanent residency (e.g. TEF, TCF, etc.), we can also focus on the specific skills you need for your test (oral practice, listening, writing). I correct your mistakes gently, explain clearly, and give you expressions you can reuse right away. For kids (beginners and school support) I adapt each lesson to your child’s age and personality. I can: – Teach the basics of French (alphabet, sounds, simple words and sentences) – Help with homework and school lessons in French – Work on reading, writing and pronunciation – Use stories, games and fun activities so they enjoy learning Rates (in person): – Adults / teens (1:1): 30 $ / hour – Kids (before 12 years old): 25 $ – Small groups (2–3 people) possible, with a reduced price per person Location & format: – Lessons in a quiet café, library, at your home (depending on the area in Calgary), or at my home (I have a dedicated area) – Online lessons also possible Languages: – French (native) – English (to explain grammar or vocabulary when needed) When you contact me, please tell me: – Your (or your child’s) approximate level in French – Your main goal (conversation, school, travel, work, exam, etc.) – Your availability (days + time slots) Payment: cash or e-transfer at the end of each lesson.
