About Emma

I’m 26, a native French speaker who has lived in France, Switzerland, and Quebec. I started my career in communications as a copywriter in an agency, and I now work as a communications consultant in the cultural sector. I know what it means to learn a language from scratch. I learned English myself and now speak it fluently and I also know how it feels to arrive in a new country, facing a new language and culture. That’s why I can help you not only learn French but also feel confident using it to navigate daily life, work, or studies.

About the lesson

Having worked in Quebec, I also know what it takes to learn French for professional purposes: I can help you with conversation skills, writing a CV in French, or preparing for interviews and workplace communication. My method? I adapt to your needs: whether you want to build confidence in speaking, improve your writing, prepare for school or work, or simply feel more at ease in daily conversations. My lessons are based on interaction, real-life situations, and tailored materials, always at your pace. I’m patient, supportive, and I understand the challenges of settling in Quebec. I’ve gone through immigration myself and can help you navigate both the language and the culture. I’m a native French speaker with a dual background: strong academic training and solid professional experience. I completed all my studies in France, in a rigorous education system that shaped my mastery of literary and formal French. I hold a degree in English Literature and have a broad education in the humanities; literature, philosophy, history, geography, which allows me to teach not only language but also culture and critical thinking.
