About Juliette

My name is Juliette Bousseau, I am 20 years old and originally from a small village on the west coast of France. While I am very attached to my home country, I also love discovering new places and cultures. I’ve spent the past two years living in Singapore as part of my studies and I am now completing an exchange in Sydney, at UNSW. During my time in Singapore, I had the opportunity to teach French to children, and I truly enjoyed sharing my language and culture while seeing their curiosity and enthusiasm grow. I enjoy teaching because I love interaction and building connections, whether with children, high schoolers, or adults. I am friendly and sociable, but also organized and professional in my approach. Outside of teaching, I love reading, listening to music, traveling, and meeting new people. Above all, I enjoy working with students who are motivated and curious about learning French.

About the lesson

I am a native French speaker with experience teaching both children and teenagers. In Singapore, I tutored young students (ages 5 and 9) once or twice a week through games, books, and creative activities. I design my own lessons, adapting them to each student’s level, goals, and areas for improvement. I can also help with homework if the student is taking in french classes and support is needed.
My approach is professional yet friendly. I always make sure lessons are engaging and fun while helping students build confidence in vocabulary, pronunciation, and cultural knowledge. Parents have given me very positive feedback, and students enjoyed learning with me. Sessions usually run for 1h to 1h30.
