Hello and welcome!

I am a native French speaker and an experienced French teacher with 2.5 years of experience in teaching and training students from different backgrounds and levels.

I am passionate about languages and education, and I enjoy helping students build their confidence and develop practical French skills that they can use in real-life situations. Over the years, I have worked with learners with different goals, whether they wanted to improve their general French, strengthen their communication skills, prepare for academic or professional purposes, or achieve a specific score in the TEF or TCF.

My lessons are carefully adapted to each student's level, objectives, and learning pace. I believe that every student learns differently, so I focus on creating a comfortable, supportive, and interactive environment where you can ask questions, make mistakes, practice, and progressively become more confident in French.

For students preparing for the TEF or TCF, I combine language training with exam-specific preparation. We work on the different skills required for the examination, practice with realistic exercises, identify areas for improvement, and develop effective strategies to approach the test with greater confidence.

Whether you are a complete beginner, a school or university student, an adult learner, or someone preparing for the TEF or TCF, I will be happy to accompany you throughout your French-learning journey.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is based on a combination of structured learning, practical communication, and personalized guidance. As a French native with 2 years and a half of experience in teaching and training, I adapt my lessons to the student's level, learning style, and specific objectives.

I believe that learning French should go beyond memorizing grammar rules and vocabulary. My goal is to help students understand how the language works while developing their ability to communicate naturally and confidently in real-life situations.

1) My teaching techniques and methods

I use an interactive and student-centered approach. Depending on the student's needs, my lessons can include:

- Clear and practical explanations of French grammar and vocabulary
- Conversation and pronunciation practice
- Listening and comprehension activities
- Reading and analysis of authentic French texts
- Writing exercises with detailed corrections
- Role-plays and real-life communication situations
- Vocabulary-building exercises and revision activities
- Exam-style exercises and timed practice for TEF and TCF
- Personalized feedback to identify and improve areas of difficulty

NOTE: For TEF and TCF preparation, I focus not only on French proficiency but also on understanding the examination format, developing effective strategies, managing time, and practicing the different types of tasks students may encounter.

2) Typical structure of a lesson

A typical class begins with a short review of previously studied material to reinforce knowledge and identify any difficulties.

We then introduce the main topic of the lesson through clear explanations and practical examples. After that, the student practices the new concepts through exercises, conversation, reading, listening, or writing activities.

For exam preparation, I regularly include exam-style questions and simulated tasks. At the end of the lesson, I provide feedback and highlight the points that need further practice. When appropriate, I also provide exercises or recommendations for independent practice between classes.

3) What makes me different as a teacher

My main strength is my ability to combine a structured teaching method with a friendly and encouraging learning environment. I adapt my explanations according to each student's level and make sure that students understand the concepts rather than simply memorizing them.

I also place strong emphasis on speaking and practical communication. I encourage students to use French actively during the lesson, gradually helping them become more comfortable and confident when expressing themselves.

For TEF and TCF students, I provide a goal-oriented approach that combines language development with exam methodology and regular practice.
