With 10 years of experience teaching French at the middle and high school levels, I have helped students of all skill levels build confidence and achieve their goals. I have taught French I, French II, French III Honors, and AP French, with multiple students earning passing scores on the AP exam. My approach combines conversation, grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and listening practice to build confidence and real-world fluency. A typical lesson includes a brief review, introduction of new concepts, guided practice, and conversational application. I also stay up to date with the evolving AP French exam requirements and help students develop the specific skills needed to succeed on the test. Multiple students I have taught have earned 4's and 5's on the AP exam, while others have left my classes speaking French fluently. I work with beginners through advanced and AP-level students, including those looking for academic support, test preparation, or greater conversational fluency.
