About Celina

I am currently a student at the New England Conservatory, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Violin Performance. I have followed a passionate, rigorous Conservatory path from a very young age, which has inspired the creativity, dedication, patience, open-mindedness, efficiency, close attention to detail, and eagerness to keep learning within me. I have interacted with many different people professionally, especially in concert around the world. Through violin, as well as English writing and analyses (in which I am also accomplished), I have found a love for teaching. I find that working with students and nurturing their own unique voices to be a beautiful, inspirational experience. It is important to me to pay close attention to each student’s learning style, and introducing creativity in this way, instead of approaching everyone with the same strict approaches.

About the lesson

I have quite a bit of experience as a teacher - I have taught violin of varying levels for several years, which requires creativity, clear communication, very close attention to detail, intense focus, and dedication. This has translated into any time I have helped students with English (writing and analyses) and French. As a native French speaker, some benefits you will find with studying with me are 1) accurate pronunciation, including how to physically access some of the sounds, 2) opportunities to practice conversation, and 3) sources that come directly from France.
