About Maya
I am a native French speaker having, with English and French being both my first languages. I took French at A-level, achieving an A*.
Having previously tutored French at A-level and GCSE level, I feel confident in giving tutoring classes to students. My tutoring will be tailored to the students needs.

I often start my tutoring with a small test to determine the main areas of focus. Then continue each tutoring session with a few questions at the beginning of the lesson on topics that we covered in the previous session to ensure full comprehension.
I always aim to cover the 4 key language skills, being reading, speaking, writing and listening in each session by incorporating them into exercises and games.
For students with previous knowledge, I build the lessons based on your existing knowledge in order to gain new and skills and enhance your existing knowledge of the language. I tend to give homework between lessons so that students can practice the knowledge gained during the lesson.
