About Thomas

Bonjour! My name is Thomas. I grew up in France (I was born and raised in Marseille and moved to Paris when I was 16) and moved to Canada in 2024 to pursue my studies. I am currently a medical student at the University of Montreal, and I am also passionate about drawing, painting, and writing, especially journaling and poetry.

I have an excellent command of French. As a native French speaker, I excelled in literature classes throughout school and graduated with the French Baccalaureate with an excellent score of 18/20 (High Honors, with a Jury’s Commendation). In particular, I achieved 20/20 on the written French exam and 19/20 on the oral French exam.

I am a very friendly and easygoing person who connects easily with others and loves meeting new people :D

About the lesson

I am passionate about French literature and writing, and I would love to share my language with students of all levels. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s needs and goals, helping you improve your reading, speaking, writing, and listening skills.

My favorite method is centered around teaching vocabulary and chatting to assimilate the language through everyday-like conversations (especially French grammar, which is not the easiest).

Most of my students are in primary school, but I am happy to teach learners of any age, from children (5+) to teenagers, adults, and seniors.
