About Agathe

Hey,

My name is Agathe.

I am an experienced Educator at primary school, secondary school, and university levels.

I have worked in various positions teaching French, English, and Psychology from beginner to advanced level.

I am currently teaching Psychology (and marking papers) at UCL (university ranked in 1st position for Psychology in Europe). I am therefore uniquely positioned to help you prepare for university entry tests, help you train for your A-levels/IB, or offer support to students who need a little help on the way.

I speak 6 languages and love finding smart ways to learn languages quickly. I will teach you some good tricks to remember vocabulary and language rules more efficiently (for example, by bridging the language you know to the one you are learning).

I am working towards my PhD in Neuroscience and can assist you in that discipline too.

I am currently training to receive my Higher Education Teaching Certificate.

About the lesson

My teaching style is really empathetic and welcoming. I always make sure there is no fear of making mistakes and focus on enjoying the learning process!

I integrate loads of different types of material in my classes to make it more entertaining for the learners (e.g. videos, music, mentimeter, real-world content). I design the content to match my student’s hobbies and preferences.

I have significant experience in designing learning curriculums. Our first session together will focus on defining your objectives and timeline for achieving those. I will then design a bespoke program specifically tailored to help you achieve your goals!
