About Monique

Bonjour! My name is Monique, and I am a native French speaker, based in Macclesfield.
I have been working in the UK, for the past 10 years, as a medical devices sales manager, for the French and UK markets.

My goal is to help you master the "real" French used in day-to-day life, professional settings and also ensuring academic success for students.

Whether you want to sound like a local, need strict support with schoolwork, or are preparing for upcoming exams, my lessons are tailored to build your confidence and fluency.

About the lesson

I teach all age groups and skill levels, welcoming everyone from primary school children to adult learners.

My teaching methodology focuses on practical immersion and building confidence rather than memorising dry grammar rules.

For younger students, I provide structured homework support and effective exam strategies to help them improve their grades. For adults and advanced learners, I use authentic everyday resources like real dialogues, articles, and videos to teach natural pronunciation and idiomatic expressions that you will actually use.

Every lesson is structured as a productive 1-hour session designed to keep you engaged and actively learning.
- The first 10 minutes are spent recapping the previous lesson (or mapping out your goals and assessing your current level if it is our very first class).
- The next 30 minutes are dedicated to breaking down specific concepts, grammar, and vocabulary using concrete examples.
- The final 20 minutes are reserved entirely for pure conversation, allowing you to speak freely and immediately practice what you just learned.
