About Emma
I am a native French student studying English literature and creative writing at the University of Dundee in Scotland. I have studied an advanced French literature formation in France's top high school. I would like to share my mother tongue and teach it to those who need. I have actively helped foreign students with their French studies before, and would like to keep doing so.

My teaching method is adaptable depending on the needs of my students and varies depending on level, difficulties and goals.
For those who would like to work on the oral aspect of the language, I base my lessons on the reading and analysis of current events in French newspapers (adapted to the student's age and level), so that the discussion may be set around a specific topic that would allow to build the student's vocabulary and capacities to express themselves.
To work on written aspects, such as comprehension or expression, I tend to favour the study of excerpts from French classics, which then lead either to a discussion, to argumentative essays that we would read, correct and improve together, or to written analytical paragraphs that I believe to be extremely helpful in acquiring crucial linguistic skills.
