About Johanna

Hi or Salut as we would say in French! :)

I am Johanna, a 27 years old, French Bilingual Creative Producer who moved from Paris to Los Angeles 2 years ago.

As a Native French Speaker, I have a strong cultural knowledge to provide accurate and modern French lessons for all levels!

Theese French lessons are open for all levels and are usually remotely through a video session but if in-person sessions suit you better, happy to discuss!

Each class is 1-hour minimum and for tangible progress, I recommend at least 2 classes a week.

I usually start each class with a reminder of the previous one (10-15min) and then we move into the new lesson. Based on your needs, I am happy to focus on a precise area Grammar, Vocabulary, Pronunciation/Reading, Comprehension, Speaking, and/or Writing.

The first (free) session will enable me to determine the most effective teaching lessons based on your level and preferred way of learning.

For the beginner level, I like using a book (Easy French Step-By-Step) that you will be able to find on Amazon. If the book doesn't suit you, happy to adapt myself to your preferred way of learning!

For the intermediate level, we will focus on the area you need help with the most with personalized exercises!

For advanced levels, I like focusing on one area each week and will prepare personalized lessons to meet your goals!
