About Apolline

I have always lived in Paris and since many years I've been giving French lessons for all kind of levels. I have followed many students throughout the years when they were in elementary school, middle school and high school. I have helped a boy throughout all last year to prepare him for the French Baccalaureate (which is the equivalent of the A-levels in France). I myself have obtained excellent grades for my French Baccalaureate and I am native French speaker which puts me in the best position to help children to improve their French whether for fun or for school purpose.

About the lesson

Throughout the years of my many baby-sitting hours and tutoring lessons, I believe I have acquired a certain methodology adapted to the children. I try to adapt my lessons and my learning methods according to the children I am helping. Every child doesn't assimilate knowledge at the same pace and in the same way. I always re-explain as many times as necessary. I always want to make my lessons a good and pleasant time for the children. I believe that you can progress in you academic course by loving what you do. I also always leave a sheet with a resume of the lesson we just have so he can re-read it when he have some doubts and it will help him assimilate acknowledge in an easier way. I can also leave some exercises for the upcoming week and I am always available by phone or by text if the student has any questions. I am a very dedicated and motivating person who will help children in a rigor, serious and goodwill way.

My rates will vary depending on the level of student I am helping. It will be higher if he wants Literature in French class for example or if I am preparing him for an exam.
