About Gillian

Passing on knowledge is my passion, and i don't believe anyone is too old to learn something new. I am a lawyer and crafter, teaching Esan Language online as well as physical class. In addition I also teach bag making as well as other arts and crafts.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is based on first identifying the particular area of need, and where necessary place focus on helping my students overcome areas of fear or doubt. I do all I need to boost confidence of my students where needed.

Perfect! Gillian is my Yoruba teacher and we’ve had several classes. She is very knowledgeable, patient, understanding and has a good sense of humour.

In terms of teaching style, Gillian is patient and teaches at my pace. She is keen on teaching correct pronunciations and written work.

I am given homework after most lessons and Gillian gives fair and constructive feedback about this. With my agreement, Gillian is a little strict on the occasions when I am late with homework. She does this to make me study.

I would recommend Gillian as a tutor and I’m pleased to have met her.

Pete is a serious student who despite having a full workload and lots of family commitments was always regular and early to classes, hardly ever failed to do home tasks.
Pete is an excellent student with a great sense of humor and responsibility.
