About Julie
Hi! My name is Julie. My Mom was an English teacher, so growing up I had a very strict education in grammar and communication. Since then, I have had the joy of becoming a songwriter, using communication in more poetic way. I have also worked for a decade in design, VFX and animation as a client services and project manager. During that work, I get to see every kind of business: from car companies, to medical services, to food companies. I get to learn about these business and then communicate their message in terms everyone can understand. In additional to my professional experience in client service, I have also lived abroad in Spain and Brazil, offering private English lessons to every level of student. Having completed a degree in Hispanic Studies and learned how to speak both Spanish and Portuguese fluently, language and culture is a huge passion of mine. I know and understand deeply the benefit of having a 1:1 tutor to help bring my learning full circle. I hope we can work together!
