About Leona

I like to learn different languages, and I also want to introduce the culture of China and help others learning Chinese. I'll share all my experience about how to start a new language easily and happy learning! And I'll design variety of ways to study.

About the lesson

I'll design your unique course based on your interests and needs, focus on practical conversation skills that are useful in daily life, such as ordering food, shopping, or asking for directions, which can help you feel confident in real-life situations. And offer lessons about Chinese culture, history, holidays, and traditions. This will help you understanding Chinese culture deeply. I'll teach bilingually, using both English and Chinese to help you to understand, and gradually transitioning to full Chinese conversation.

Perfect! The session with Leona was very good, I could clearly see her passion for teaching Mandarin. What I especially liked about the lesson was the flexibility to focus on the weaker areas of my Mandarin. The lesson felt very tailored to my strengths and shortcomings in the language.

This is especially important for me because I already know bits and pieces, so this approach will help streamline the process of improving. I look forward to our future sessions.

Alex is a very attentive and dedicated student with a great attitude toward learning. He stays highly focused in class, quickly grasps new concepts, and applies them effectively. And his strong learning ability makes his overall performance truly impressive.
