About Brent
Hi there! I'm Brent and I'm here to prove that learning Chinese can actually be fun.
I used to study and work in Australia, so I know exactly what it feels like to be the foreigner in the room—nervous about ordering food, messing up pronunciations, and praying the taxi driver understands me. That experience changed everything for me. It taught me that language isn't about perfection—it's about connection.
That's why I teach the way I do: relaxed, practical, and full of laughs. I don't just teach you words; I teach you how to use them in real life, without the stress. My inspiration comes from all those kind Aussies who patiently chatted with my broken English and made me feel welcome. Now, I want to be that person for you—your cheerleader, your guide, and your safe space to stumble, try again, and grow.
My promise to you: No judgment. No boring drills. Just real conversations, genuine encouragement, and maybe a few dad-jokes in Mandarin along the way.
