About Rebecca

I am a senior at UCLA studying physiological science and currently applying to dental school! I lived in Shanghai for the majority of my life and I have plenty of experience tutoring students ranging from elementary school to high school.

Teaching Method & Techniques:

I use a communicative approach, emphasizing speaking and listening skills, while also incorporating reading and writing practice. I adapt my techniques based on your learning style, whether it’s visual, auditory, or kinesthetic.

A Typical Lesson Plan:

Warm-up (5-10 mins): Review of previous content and casual conversation practice.

Core Lesson (30-40 mins): Introduction of new vocabulary, grammar points, and sentence structures with real-life examples.

Practice (10-15 mins): Role-playing, conversation drills, and listening exercises.

Wrap-up (5-10 mins): Summary and Q&A, followed by assigning personalized homework.
