About Simeng
I am a native Chinese speaker born and brought up in China. I majored in mechanical engineering at UCL and energy technologies at the University of Cambridge. I am now based in London working as a product planning engineer. I love photography and travelling. And I love playing board games!

My teaching method is to create a relaxing atmosphere and let students learn things enjoyably. For Mandarin teaching, I would prefer doing some simple tasks, games and readings to help students learn the language. I am happy to help both total beginners as well as those who want to improve Mandarin pronunciation and fluency.

Perfect! Friendly, professional and adaptive to our needs. The lessons was for my 10 year old daughter who is a fluent speaker who has not spoken for a while and needs work on reading and writing. I can recommend.
Perfect! Simeng is very motivated, driven and has a wide range of activities for every lesson, making them enjoyable and easy to follow for beginners. I would definitely recommend her if you want to improve your speaking, reading and listening!
- Gon has a great interest in Mandarin learning and is perfect in pronouncing many Mandarin words and sentences. In next week, we will mainly go through 7 rainbow colours, bigger numbers, meals and focus on pinyin initials and finals. It was quite enjoyable teaching Gon.See the response Simeng :
Good! She only offered online session and I had to cancel when realised on the day. My 4 years old cannot seat in front of a computer for one hour.
