About Lina
With over a decade of international experience and a professional background in psychology and education, I offer a learning experience that is both academically rigorous and emotionally supportive. My approach centers on communicative language teaching, where I prioritize natural dialogue and practical application over rigid drills. I specialize in building a "low-anxiety" environment, using humor and relatable storytelling to help students overcome the fear of making mistakes.
As a native speaker from Beijing, I provide students with the highest standard of Mandarin pronunciation and authentic cultural nuances. My sessions, typically 45 to 60 minutes, are designed for children and adult learners who value a mentor who is not only an expert in linguistics but also a seasoned professional in human development. Whether you are a beginner or looking to polish your fluency, my goal is to ensure you speak with clarity, confidence, and a touch of local flair.

With over 12 years of overseas experience and a background in psychology and education, I provide an immersive, high-energy learning environment. I utilize a student-centered methodology, focusing on "active output" rather than rote memorization, incorporating humor and real-life scenarios to keep sessions engaging.
My lessons typically run for 45 to 60 minutes, tailored for children and adult beginners. Whether we are tackling basic phonetics or conversational fluency, my goal is to build your confidence through supportive, professional, and culturally rich interaction.
After class, I also provide you the notes for your review and learning.
