About Olivia

Hi! My name is Olivia, and I’m a native English speaker from Nova Scotia, Canada, currently living and working as a registered nurse in Quebec.

I have always been passionate about helping others learn, grow, and feel confident. As a nurse, I communicate with people from many different backgrounds every day, which has strengthened my ability to listen, explain concepts clearly, and create a supportive learning environment.

I understand that learning a new language can feel challenging, so my goal is to make English learning comfortable, engaging, and enjoyable. I believe everyone learns differently, and I take the time to understand each student’s goals, strengths, and areas for improvement.

Whether you are learning English for everyday life, work, travel, school, or healthcare, I’m here to encourage you and help you build the confidence to communicate naturally.

As a native English speaker from Canada and a registered nurse, I also specialize in medical English for healthcare professionals. I can help nurses, healthcare workers, and students improve their professional communication, practice patient interactions, and develop the vocabulary needed to feel more confident in healthcare settings.

My teaching approach is friendly, supportive, and encouraging. I believe the best way to learn a language is through meaningful conversation and a comfortable environment where you feel free to ask questions, make mistakes, and practice without judgment.
