About Joshua

My name is Josh and I’m a native English speaker from Cambridge in the UK. I love languages because they allow us to meet new people, get to know them and travel the world with confidence. I've had so many experiences that have been enhanced by knowledge of other cultures and languages, which is why it's my mission to stay open-minded, keep learning and help others to improve their language skills. Further to this, I feel that cultural awareness is an essential aspect of learning another language, so I'll do my best to incorporate it into my teaching. You'll likely notice it from our first conversation! I’ve been teaching English as a second language for the last 10 years, and this has enabled me to gain a lot of experience with students from around the world. This is why I’m confident that I’ll be able to help you improve your English, whatever your language learning goals may be.

About the lesson

Would you like to be able to use and understand English like a native speaker? Are you planning to move to an English-speaking country or start a job which involves speaking English? Would you like to use English for travel? Or is learning English your hobby? Whatever the case, my focus is on helping you to improve your English so that you can achieve your personal language goals. Lessons with me are conversational and relaxed, helping you to gradually build your confidence. Whether you’re a beginner, an intermediate or an advanced learner, I have experience in helping language students of all ages, levels and from various cultural backgrounds to improve their English skills. As a native English speaker, I’ll be able to explain the language to you in a practical way and I’ll help you to make progress.
