About Gilberto
I am a lover of languages and language learning with over 30 years of tutoring experience with ages 8 to 88 and 20 years of classroom experience teaching Spanish and 4 years teaching Russian for adolescents. National Board Certified in World Languages for Adolescents and Adults. A graduate of the University of Texas in the Spanish Language with a Minor in the Russian Language with some French.
My students can boast of all levels of language proficiency and fluency after working with me.
We begin where you are and follow what some refer to as the natural method to acquire the language to whatever level you are willing to work toward.
As a simultaneous bilingual in Spanish and English, I have ample experience facing the challenges of learning new languages.
I also provide tutoring in English Language Arts and Social Studies/History for Middle School and High School students.
