About Vavi
I am driven and invested in everything I do, and that includes the student's success and growth. Not everything I've studied has come naturally to me, so I understand that perseverance is the most important thing in learning -- NOT natural ability. I have several years experience in childcare, serving a diverse group of children and young adults of ages ranging from 5-12 years. I'm confident that the student and I will build a relationship that will foster trust.

I've always found the best way to learn is through guided practice.
For STEM:
Based on the topics the student is currently seeking help with, I will create a lesson plan of applicable questions/problems of various levels. We will work through them together, with the student leading and myself providing guidance when needed. I like to build confidence in students, and I've found this is a good way to do so. I'm happy to provide homework help, as well (without completing the homework for the student, of course).
For writing: I'd like the student to come in with a writing sample of what they're currently working on, and we'll work together to develop editing and writing skills.
