About Vadim

After working as a volunteer with foreign students at uni, I realized that I wanted to make the business of helping students get to grips with Russian language my primary focus. Therefore, I have taken modules in teaching foreign languages and cultures, making this the main element of my degree. My concern is always for the student’s comfort and ensuring that they get the very best experience from both the language and culture of our country. I am confident in providing support to anyone who really wants to improve their level of Russian language. And, since being a native speaker, I am familiar with a number of lifehacks to simplify the various complex grammar points, making them easy to break down and giving you an edge in your everyday use of the language. I believe that everyone is capable of learning Russian and I would be delighted to help in this regard.

About the lesson

Before starting your tuition, I will make sure that I have a full grasp of your level and what you need to do to make steady and sustainable progress. Lessons will last between 45 and 60 minutes, however this can be extended where necessary to ensure that all the content is covered, and the student does not fall behind.
All aspects of the language will be covered, with as much time as possible dedicated to practicing the language and developping the student's skills in a practical way. Where useful, I use resources not only from British Russian teaching material, but also from material that has been developed in Russia to help foreigners learn our language. This means that students will have the opportunity to study fresh material and stay motivated.
