About Mary
I am a bachelor’s degree holder(BA.ED) in history and education.
I worked as a student teacher during my teaching practice program in hussey college, Warri, delta state, where I taught Christian religious studies in the junior secondary school(jss3).
As a student teacher I performed the various activities;
I conferred with qualified teachers to establish instructional targets and prepare lessons to cover source topics.
I developed lesson plans that incorporated mandated topics and included immersive activities for student engagement.
I graded test and checked homework assignment, documenting information m student records.
Lastly, I cultivated positive relationships with administration, teaching staff and students.

My teaching method is primarily centered on class engagement. As a teacher, this will help me to evaluate my students performance and also help the students to participate actively. I like to make use of examples like storytelling and life experience I order to create a mental picture in the minds of students, also I make use of instructional materials when necessary.
Lastly I implement positive behavior. I am very particular about developing positive and healthy relationships among students. I focus on the three Rs; respect, response and right way to learning. I have and approachable style of teaching that is flexible enough to cater for a diverse range of learning style, need and requirements.
